This month, we’ll be benefiting Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers (HEART). The mission of HEART is to foster compassion and respect for all living beings and the environment by educating youth and teachers in Humane Education. Stuff your dollars in the donation jar, and buy raffle tickets from HEART to win one of these great prizes: gift certificates from Lula’s Sweet Apothecary, Candle 79, Vegan Essentials, and Terri; chocolates from Rescue Chocolate; candy bars from Go Max; an item from Vaute Couture; and a Lia Sophia necklace!

We’ll turn down the music around 8:30pm and encourage people to promote themselves, their groups and/or causes for 30 seconds. If you represent a veg*n or animal rights group, come prepared with your (very short!) spiel and literature.

It's been a long hard winter and FINALLY Spring has sprung and we will be back in Brooklyn every Saturday & Sunday at the world famous Smorgasburg.

The Phatty Beet Slider will be returning (of course, we don't want riots) along with some other delicious and nutritious menu items will be debuting.  So come visit us!  We have certainly missed feeding all you beautiful people.

We are taking a much need hiatus before the busy Smorgasburg season gets up and running.  Expect us to be refreshed and relaxed and ready to feed you delicious vegan cuisine!  See you in April.

Chickpea and Olive was honored to be the caterers for the new and amazing vegan consulting company Plant Based Solutions.   The party featured products Vegg, Treeline Cheese, Teese, Gardien, and DF Mavens.  It was so much fun to work with new products and make so many different canapés.  Look out for pictures from the launch party and please keep us in mind for you next event!

We hope you had a lovely holiday season.  It was a busiest season yet and we are so grateful.  Thank you so much for all of your love and support constantly.

2013 is promising to be absolutely amazing.  We are doing more catered events and working on our packaged products. 

Dan and I are hoping very much for a hiatus to Costa Rica sometime in the winter before our crazy market season begins.  

Keep us in mind for any catered events no matter how big or small.  Looking forward to feeding you soon.
